August 26,2021 commemorates
the 101st Anniversary of
Women's Suffrage in the U.S.

Lake Erie College is hosting
the first in a series of annual events
to celebrate the national heroes of suffrage
who began their journey in Painesville.

Please join the celebration of
the work of these amazing women
and their place in history.

Events are free and open to the public,
beginning at 5 p.m. on
Thursday, August 26 with the Pomeroy
Historical Marker Dedication at
Lake Erie's College Hall.

Dress up for the costume contest,
meet historical figures, tour the 19th century
Social Parlor, and snap your pictures at
the vintage photo booth.

Candoren will host free
house tours, with tea and biscuits for all
beginning at 6 p.m. Additional savories, treats,
and sandwiches will be available for sale
to have your own picnic on the front lawn.
