This is our fifth year as owners and caretakers of this wonderful old place

on Mentor Avenue. It has been a pleasure to host and serve

thousands of visitors in their celebrations at Candoren since 2019.

​

We hope everyone has enjoyed the gift of hospitality, while feeling welcomed and refreshed by their time spent in our lovingly restored, spacious 1895 mansion.

​

Every day is just a little more special when you are surrounded by crystal and china, antique linens and flatware, original fixtures and hardwood floors. We provide a relaxed and comfortable setting to retreat from the busy pace of life.

At Candoren, every gathering is customized for you, whether it is an onsite retreat, a special event for the day, a big-flowered-hat tea party, a catered company meeting, an overnight celebration, or a family reunion week filled with those you love most!

Our Candoren staff will help you plan your theme,

 a fabulous event layout, and your choices of food, beverages and decor.

We help make your entertaining simple, fun, and affordable.
 

If you would just like to see the house, please stop by for a quick tour! We will show you around and then sip some lemonade or tea with you on the porch.

Host up to 49 people inside and 120 people outdoors, with multiple pricing and staffing options for set-up, catering, linens, china, crystal, service, and decorating.
